Easton Attractions: Get to Know Your Neighborhood

Easton Town Center, arguably one of Columbus’ most popular attractions, is an indoor and outdoor shopping complex that features outdoor concerts, holiday events, and approximately 300 retail shops, restaurants, and enterprises. Dine, listen to live music, or spend a relaxing weekend at the Hilton or Hampton Inn. Regardless, the retail center and surrounding region have something for everyone and are much more than just a place to tote shopping bags.

Easton Town Center is a great place for kids (and adults) to have fun.

What distinguishes Easton Town Center from other malls is that it is used for more than just shopping and browsing. The Easton site of the Funny Bone Comedy Club hosts local and national talent for the 21 and over crowd, while the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, which opens in September, will feature a 4D theater, two rides, and ten LEGO build and play zones. Not to mention AMC’s Dine-In Theaters, which are always popular.

Gahanna

The city of Gahanna, located just outside the Easton area, offers a variety of activities in its own right. Stop into The Barn at Rocky Fork for sophisticated comfort food, or Cap City for a classic diner experience. For a good time, go to Laser Kraze, a laser tag and trampoline park, or Creekside Park, which offers picnics, paddle boating, and fishing.

Another advantage of the Easton neighborhood is the chance to dine and shop at businesses that began right here in Columbus. Of course, larger brands like Donatos and L Brands (Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works) are available, as are smaller franchises like Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Homage vintage clothes and gear, and Zest Juice, a cold-pressed raw juice firm, to mention a few. Another fantastic spot to purchase local is the Celebrate Local gift shop in Easton, which sells home decor, apparel, coffee, books, and local art from over 300 small Ohio businesses.
