Worthington is a wealthy city in Franklin County, Ohio, United States, and a northern suburb of Columbus. According to the 2010 census, the population was 13,575 people. The Scioto Company, led by James Kilbourne, later elected to the United States House of Representatives, created the city in 1803 and named it after Thomas Worthington, who eventually became governor of Ohio.
